About Joseph J. Welch, Esquire*, CFP®, MBA, RICP®
Prior to becoming a financial advisor in 2008, I spent my career in the legal profession. I initially practiced law. Later, I worked directly with lawyers as a sales consultant for companies that focus on lawyers’ needs in the areas of research, marketing, risk management, workflow, and other technology.
I am a firm believer in the necessity for the fiduciary standard in financial advising. Without question, the client’s interest comes first and the advisor must avoid any and all conflicts of interest, especially the potential for receiving commission associated with advice provided.
